The decision to visit Europe was spontaneous. First we decided to visit Barcelona. Then we found out that we could stay one night in Amsterdam, because KLM performs all its flights via Amsterdam. Then we got an idea to spend one week in Barcelona and one in Nice. But my boyfriend had learned that I had never been to Paris, so the final route was:
13-14 April - Amsterdam
14-18 April - Barcelona
19-21 April - Madrid
22-24 April - Paris
24-28 April - Nice (+Monaco)
