There is a provarb in Bengali that "Sab Tirtha bar bar Gangasagar Ek Bar"- which means taking holy dip only once in life during Makar Sankranti is enough to earn that much virtue which one can earn by visiting all the pilgrim centres throughout his life.

This is my third time I have visited Hardwar.Haridwar isconsidered one of the seven holy places of the Hindus. It is world widely known for Kumbhmela which took place in every 12 years. Situated 214 km northeast of Delhi, 42 km away from Dehradun district it is well connected with roads and railways.
You can have a view of the colourful India. This time I have a full day scope for photographing people of this holy place. Hampi, one of the World Heritage sites of India is located within the ruins of Vijaynagara, the former capital of the Vijaynagara Empire.
