Around and in between several conferences Corvallis and Vancouver, I am visiting Seattle and Victoria. Although this is a work trip, I took the opportunity to buy a decent lens to replace my kit lens. With all the amazing land and city-scapes, I hope to take the odd photo to post back here on TE. Freiburg and environs by Robert Egginton (167) 2005-04-29 - 2005-08-16

I've been lucky enough to get funding for a three month research trip to the university in Freiburg, Germany. On the way here, I stopped off in Strasbourg for a day, on the other side of the border, but with some similarities (especially culinary ones). They are both beautiful cities, worth exploring with or without a camera. I think I'll try with for starters... more soon. (13 photos)
