2004 Red Rock Balloon Rally by Matt Kr (260) 2004-12-04 - 2004-12-04

The Red Rock Balloon Rally is held annually at Red Rock State Park outside of Gallup, NM. There are spots for 200 teams and every year there is a waiting list. I got there around 7:00 AM just in time to see the first balloons launch and stayed for several hours.

There wasn't much of a breeze so the balloons just hung over the park which probably wasn't much fun for the balloonists but was great for us photographers. (6 photos)

Sedona by Matt Kr (260) 2004-01-03 - 2004-01-04

I recently went down to Phoenix, AZ for the Fiesta Bowl in which my alma mater Kansas State University was playing Ohio State. I had an extra day on my hands so some friends and I drove 2 hours north to Sedona. It was one of the most beautiful places I've been so far in all my travels. (4 photos)
