Once more I decided to go skiing in Switzerland. Having viewed different maps and also searched the Internet, I found that my last visit had left enough challenges to enjoy another stay and also to develop my skills.
This was made true thanks to perfect conditions - sunny with freezing temperatures - and very "forgiving" skis. I had a wonderful time and did slopes I'd never dreamt of doing.
I then had a slow journey home searching for Spring with stays in Milano (Italy), Bregenz (Austria) and Stuttgart (Germany), only to arrive in Lund just after the last snowfall of the season... (5 photos)

CeBIT and Swiss skiing in 2005 by Kaj Nordstrom

With only one month's notice I decided on going skiing in the Alps for the first time in my life. I didn't know how well I'd do, so I decided on Grindelwald in Berner Oberland, as there are plenty of sightseeing trips that can be made in the area - if not skiing.
To make the traveling part more attractive, I saw the possibility of visiting the CeBIT '05 fair in Hannover on my way down. So, once more over the bridge... (12 photos)

Late in the evening on August 11th 2004 I drove over the Řresund Bridge for a trip to southern Europe. My mind was set for the Mediterranean Sea with a slight hesitation.
After some 'lurking around' - mostly shooting for the Scavenger Hunt - I reached my goal and spent five lovely days in Provence... (32 photos)

In the Spring of 2003, just a couple of month before retirering from work, I had the opportunity to go to the United States for the first time in my life. I brought a digital camera, which I had borrowed from a friend, and all the pictures taken were ment as "normal" tourist photos.
However, with a digital media, I was able to lavish and returned with more than 300 images. Some of these I found suiteable for uploading to TrekEarth. And in the meantime I purchased my own digital camera ... (full story) (37 photos)
