El Rin y el Loira by Clemente Perez
(2039) 2009-08-08 - 2009-08-18
(14 photos)

A short trip during summer holidays to some of the cities of the eastern coast of United States and Canada. Too short to know and show all the beauty that can be found in these rich contries, but my first personal approach. (23 photos)

I had no time to visit many other cities that I wanted also to see, like Lübeck. Maybe next time.
Hansa was a union of merchants and their richness is visible in the monuments of these cities ... (full story) (25 photos)

Lusitania by Clemente Perez
(2039) 2006-08-14 - 2006-08-21
In 8 days I travelled by car to some cities of Lusitania, an old Roman province that included a big part of Portugal (from river Douro to the southern edge) and part of the West of Spain (Extremadura, part of Castile-Leon). Capital was Emerita Augusta (Merida).
In a not very big territory, in few days I could visit at least 7 places listed as World Heritage by Unesco.
Though temperatures are very high in August, the weather was fine with some rain and thermometer at 20-30 degrees C.
If we add the excellent cured ham that can be eaten in this region, all this made the travel very pleasant. ... (full story) (20 photos)
