We visited 2 cities:
Tiradentes. Small town. population 5000. You feel you are travelling back in time, people still use horses and horse chariots as vehicles, and colonial houses are very sweet and well taken care of. Very nice pousadas (small hotels), and good restaurants.
Ouro Preto: population: 70.000
More chaotic, probably given the fact it is much bigger. Have never seen so many beautiful colonial churches in one place. (11 photos)

Oslo in the Spring is sooo beautiful, happy and cool atmosphere!! Parks are crowded with people on picnic. (6 photos)

We spent 2 weeks total.
First part of the trip started in Calafate, south of Argentina. We wanted to see the glaciars, huge mountains made of accumulated snow. Beautiful, impressive. Then we spent 3 days to an "estancia" 200 km from Calafate, in the middle of nowhere on a beautiful lake.
The second part of the trip was in the Bariloche area. 2 days in Arelauquen and 1 week on Isla Victoria, Lake Nahuel Huapi, 20-30' by boat from Bariloche. (5 photos)
