Hunting for something different to photograph, I recently just grabbed the camera, got in the car, picked a direction, and headed out of town. Determined to see something new, I stayed off of the main highways and traveled country roads and discovered the small town Chase City, Virginia. It was here I discovered this wonderful garden covering 5 acres, right in the center of town.

The gardens are located under the canopy of huge oak trees, with very few spots of direct sunlight creeping through, giving every picture a magical rich green cast. ... (full story) (7 photos)
