Paradise of Panglao island by Christine Briones (217) 2006-06-22 - 2006-06-25

Panglao island, in the province of Bohol, Visayas, Philippines, is becoming popular amoung local tourists now and I had a great chance of visiting this place again after 15 years. I was with family and friends on the summer after my grade school graduation and I remember this place to be beautiful, with white sands and immensely gorgeous blue-green seas. When I came back last June, it still is the same paradise. Glad to know tourism has not changed so many things, just added some more conveniences and lodging options that will suit budget travelers looking for relaxation and tranquility alike. ... Boracay revisited by Christine Briones (217) 2006-09-29 - 2006-10-01

I went back to my favorite place here in the Philippines, Boracay island in the province of Aklan, last September 29 for a short weekend vacation.. it was after the strong typhoon "Milenyo" and while lots of places here in the Philippines were devastated by the winds and rain, I was lucky to get at least 2 days of sun while in Boracay.
