South America 2007 by Augusto TRM (1738) 2007-07-13 - 2007-07-31

This travel was quite an adventure! We ran 5300 Km (~ 3300 Miles) by car, through four countries here in South America (Brazil, Argentina, Paraguay and Uruguay). This was surely the longest road travel I've ever done! I drove for around 3500 Km and my wife drove the rest. Temperature was cold and the weather was mostly dry and sunny, providing good light for taking pictures. We've seen old ruins, big cities and natural life. Since 2000 we haven't gone in vacations for so long... and now... with two children.

Monte Verde 2006 by Augusto TRM (1738) 2006-07-02 - 2006-07-07

Monte Verde is a small village, around 200Km far from São Paulo. It's on Minas Gerais State, but on the borders with São Paulo State. We spent five days there. It was relaxing, and that's a place where you can be surrounded by nature. (13 photos)

Brazilian South 2005/2006 by Augusto TRM (1738) 2005-12-26 - 2006-01-07

12 day travel to the south of Brazil.

We went by car to Canela, a city on the mountains in Rio Grande do Sul state, south of Brazil. During 12 days, we drove 3188 Km. The total distance from São Paulo to Canela is around 1200Km, so we had to stop to spend a night somewhere, in the midle of our journey. When going, we stayed 2 nights in Camboriú. When coming back, we made a longer stop: 4 days in Florianopolis, the capital of Santa Catarina state. It was a quite nice trip, very relaxing. Since our 5-year-old girl was born, we hadn't been so much time away from home. (48 photos)

We had only five free days in July and went to Santos. The first day was sunny, but it rained a lot afterwards.

Instead of going to the beach, or travel around to see the landscape, we went to restaurants, cinemas and to a shopping center.

No problem, it was funny to be full time with our little 2-year-old daughter. (5 photos)
