Cuba: an incredible place, where time seems to be stopped since half a century and light and colors are stunning. It's lovable to discover its people, its towns, its sea. Our trip started in The Havana, the beautiful colonial capital, UNESCO world heritage. Then we moved to Cienfuegos, Trinidad, Sancti Spiritus, Santa Clara and the Vinales Valley. We spent last days in the island of Cayo Levisa. (47 photos)

Valencia - Past and future by Giorgio Mercuri (21090) 2008-12-12 - 2008-12-14

A long weekend in Valencia gave us the opportunity to enjoy first of all its nice climate, even in winter. Then we loved to walk in its beautiful streets and monument. We finally remained speechless in front of the wonderful futuristic architecture created in the city of Arts and Science, most of which were designed by Santiago Calatrava, one of our favorites modern architects. A magical island of sun and history.
This was my impression visiting the incredible Sicily.
We made a two weeks tour, we arrived in Palermo by plane and then rented a car. After spending two days in Palermo we started our tour to the west and made the tour of the entire coastline (including some stops in the internal area), arriving in Palermo airport after 2.260 Kms.
I have no words to explain how much I loved everything, but I can give you and idea by telling you that I took more than 1.350 pictures... (96 photos)

Val di Mello - Italian Yosemite by Giorgio Mercuri (21090) 2007-04-27 - 2007-04-27

In the north of Lombardia region, in a part of Valtellina area included in Val Masino there's a little treasure to discover. A valley with impressive rocks called "the little Yosemite" for it's similarities with the well known US park. There are very nice rural homes and an incredibly clear river. The basic trek is very easy and we moved there from Milan and stayed just one day. (7 photos)

On march we decided to have a "spring tour" in mitteleurope. We went by car to Austria and then to Prague (for which will follow a separate travelogue).
The austrian part goes through the major cities: Graz, Wien, Salzburg, Innsbruck.
