A different way to know the famous places of the world.
I have started with Pixelterror's genuine Christmas tree: As he says , the tradition started in Alsace at least in the 12th century. It then went on to Germany, was introduced to England through the Hanover kings, and really became commmon during the reign of Queen Victoria in the 19th century, hence the traditional Xmas cards with horse-drawn carriages and ladies in crinolines.
