In the summers of 2OO6 and 2007, I went along the border with Iran, Armenia an Georgia, staying with families in very small villages, travelling that way from lake Van to Ardahan. I wanted to see how people lived in those high altitudes, what they talked about and to go inside the traditional houses to see how the rooms were displayed. I was not disappointed...
