The Berlin Wall is a symbol of tyranny and repression, and its fall in 1989 marked a remarkable moment in history: the beginning of the end of Moscow's empire and the reunification of Europe inside a year. The Wall is now mostly taken down in Berlin and pieces have been distributed throughout the world.
