Bran castle is sometimes called Dracula's castle which isn't totatly correct. Vlad Tepes (Vlad the impaler) who inspired the novel about Count Dracula supposedly stayed here one or two times but his main residence was in Walachia which borders to Transylvania and part of the Carpathian mountains lie there. An old silent Dracula film was shot here.

I noticed that there were a few pictures of this castle here at TE so I made a theme.
