second part, the first theme is full of 100 photos
the ganivelles ones, of the piles planted on the beaches to break the dash of the waves and to protect the coast... BUT also more exactly an assembly of slats of chestnut connected between them to various heights by wire twisted. They are used to block the sand or any kind of material... It seems that on the Belgian littoral, one calls by extension these piles which are used to block the sand of the beaches.
