The End of Portugal as a nation

All you need is a historical map from 1050 to recognise the oldest border of the world or from 1300, to recognise the oldest nation in the world, in the current borders.
The end of Portugal as a nation was sealed in 2004, as the portuguese government signed the EU constitution, amid general apathy - there wasn't any rebellion, not even mass protests.
It wasn't until end times that happened what almost 1000 years of generations of portuguese would never ever dreamed of.
