In it's mere 20,770 squared km, Israel hosts 3 climate zones, about 100 types of mammals, over 500 types of birds and dozens of reptiles & amphibian species. This ecosystem is very delicate and was damaged heavily by mankind. For years, great efforts are done to save animals which have almost become extinct.
