This series is an attempt to examine our everyday consumer world as it relates to shopping (specifically it will focus on grocery shopping). In the West the purchasing of food is a detached, prepackaged affair. Our food comes nicely wrapped up in colourful packaging. Our food comes from the store. Period. This separation has resulted in alot of misconceptions and prejudices about food.
