The Zoological Center Tel Aviv-Ramat Gan, better known an "The Safari" is the biggest zoo in Israel. It houses about 1,600 animals, including 68 types of mammals, 130 types of birds and 25 types of reptiles. The Safari is made of a big modern zoo, surrounded by an African park, where the animals roam free and visitors are "caged" in their vehicles.
