Please submit 5 "place themed" pictures of your own which you would like to have published on the book. At least one should be a favorite. No other quality constraints will apply. We count on you to submit only your best work!! This is a preliminary step to get an idea of who wants to participate and to see what material we have to work on.

On May 5th and 6th a couple of trekearthers met in Montreal. They were Lotis, rbcy1974 and Flavia.

I innagurated my BW setting while in Ethiopia. Sometimes it was a difficult choice between shooting a photo in BW or in colour, but I think some scenes do look good in Black and white.

The French government is introducing in March 2006 a new type of labour contract for the youth which allows employers to fire people within two years of hire without any explanations.
Since then, hundreads of thousands have taken to the streets to protest.
The opinion regarding this is divided both among French people, and among Trekearthers. Here you can find some Trekearth photos of the protests.

This theme picks up photos taken during a daylong excursion from the city of Ayacucho (Peru) to the village of Vilcashuaman. The road is really bad, but goes through beautiful scenery.
