Gangasagar Mela(fair) is the largest fair celebrated in West Bengal,INDIA. This fair is held where the Ganga and the Bay of Bengal form a nexus. Hence the name Gangasagar Mela.A dip in the ocean, where the Ganga drains into the sea is considered to be of great religious significance particularly on the Makara Sankranti day when the sun makes a transition to Capricorn from Sagittarius and this town becomes home to vast fairs.

Puskar, it's just 11 km. from Ajmer(RAJASTAN,INDIA) comes alive during Puskar Fair, Pushkar Fair is regarded as one of the largest camel festivals in the world.
The festival looks like a riot of colors .
Pushkar is a religious town and is one of the important pilgrimage centers of Hindus. Pushkar is known for the holy Pushkar Lake and the many temples that dot the area. Puskar is associated with lord Brahma and is the only place in India, which has a temple dedicated to lord Brahma.

Sonpur fair is the largest of its kind in the world, for it is a fair specially for the trade of animals. Cattle, horses, camels and elephants can be seen in large numbers. It attracts a huge number of people, not only from all over Bihar, but also from other parts of India and foreign countries.

15th August, 1947 was the day India got her Independence from the British. And here we are 60 years hence, making good progress on the long winding road to success.
I am proud to be an Indian But still their are lot of problems..and truly believe that India has miles to go before it becomes the best country.....
