Thes sodiers are the innocent victims of the politicians who want power!

The Sufi whirling dance is the practice of the Mevlevi order in Turkey and is part of a ceremony known as the "Sema": This is only one of the Sufi ceremenies performed to try and reach religious ecstasy. This practice though not intended as entertainment, has become a tourist attraction in Turkey!
The Mevlevi order is a brotherhood known for their extreme poverty and austerity. They have been known as sources of wisdom, medicine, poetry or enlightenment.

There are are about 9 Monumental Calvaries in Brittany. They were often built in "Kersantite", this special dark grey granite from quarries situated in the Bay of Brest; it had this special quality that when it had just been dug out, it was rather soft, therefore quite easily sculpted; but then, it hardened with time, so the statues have managed to survive through the centuries.
Quilinen in St Servais and St Venec in Briec are missing. Anybody is welcome to add them, if they have the chance.

It's a long time since I went to Portugal (1986), but what struck me most in the architecture of that country is the Azulejos you see everywhere!
So I decided to regroup them in a theme!
