Wisconsin's Fox-Wolf River Basin is a 6,400 sq. mi., three-river watershed that represents the largest drainage basin to Lake Michigan and third largest to any of the Great Lakes. It is heavily urbanized in some spots, breathtakingly wild and scenic in others. Along this inland waterway spanning from Green Bay almost to the Mississippi, numerous parks front directly on rivers. They offer recreation and great aesthetic opportunities. Images taken from these riverside parks comprise this theme.

The Gordon Bubolz Nature Preserve in Grand Chute, Wisconsin is a 775-acre sanctuary with 8 miles of scenic trails weaving through meadow, cedar swamp, white cedar forest, prairie, and pond. Open year-round, it offers hiking, jogging, bird watching, cross-country skiing — and quiet contemplation. See it with me and enjoy some of its splendor here, on TL, and on TN.
