Lefkada, or Leucas (Greek: Λευκάδα, IPA: [le̞fˈkaða]; ancient Greek and Katharevousa: Λευκάς, Leukás; Italian: Santa Maura) is a Greek island in the Ionian Sea on the west coast of Greece, connected to the mainland by a long causeway and floating bridge.

Domianoi, with the beautiful stonemade houses and the pavings alley, finds in altitude 600 m. northwest of Karpenisi. The village is built in the foot of Misiaka (that belongs in the western mountainous volume of Velouchi). Domianoi have appreciable archaeological spaces, historical places, religious and historical delivery, post byzantine monuments (with more important the Holy Temple of Dormition of Virgin Mary) and natural beauties.
