The people of China are so interesting and display life in so many ways. I take care to respect their privacy, as some do not wish to be photographed. I hope to build on this theme with some daily life moments from China.

Lijiang China is a Chinese "old town". It is located near the province of Tibet in Yunnan province. The town has not yet been discovered by the West as it is way out of the ordinary way. However with some Chinese language you can get around. The place is well worth the visit even if it is now much more commercialized than in the past. High snow capped mountains are in the distance. Beautiful place.

There is much to see along this great river. I hope to be able to capture the new and the old in this theme along this river. Best time to river travel is in the early spring or late fall. The scenic "Three Gorges" are still beautiful.

One of the oldest and most interesting dirt/flea markets in Beijing, China is called the "Ghost Market" or antique market. The name comes from the idea that original owners of the items being sold are now "long past", and thus are now - ghosts. This type of place is slowly being lost or replaced as China continues to modernize. Soon this market will disappear along with many similar places of interest unique to China.
