A theme dedicated to the beautiful tropical and white sanded beaches in the Philippines.
The photo's were taken at Bantayan Island, Pamilacan Island and Panglao Island.

The photo's in this theme are all taken at the Ordina Open tennis tournament, held in Rosmalen, The Netherlands in the week before Wimbledon.

This theme is about tennis - on and around the courts. Next to photograpy my other major hobby is tennis. I thought to match both and dedicate a theme to it.

Not only is half the Netherlands situated below sea level and reclaimed from the sea, it also part of a large delta of some of the larger rivers of Europe, the Rhine and the Maas.
The photo's in this theme are all taken in the polders or the river meadows (also called foreland) of the Dutch delta.
Some of these places offer great photography opportunities and can have beautiful light conditions under the right weather circumstances.

In Norrköping the industrial development started in the 17th century and carried on through to the middle of the 20th century. Along the banks of the Motala River a number of woollen spinning mills and cotton factories were established.
Today, none of these industrial buildings are used in the way they were intended.
