I am by no means a black and white photographer, but I do like to occasionally try a conversion to B&W with a photo that I like but possesses weak colours - or in photos that are more dependant on texture or shape than colour to convey their message. Hope you like this collection.

This theme is dedicated to the 2007 Brisbane Riverfire, an event held annually in the Queensland's capital city, Brisbane. It is a time to celebrate the Brisbane River as an integral component of our local life, and includes aerobatic displays from stunt planes, 'dump and burn' F111 jets, and masses of fireworks set off from skyscrapers and bridges.
