I like dogs but I am not a dog fanatic. I don't attend shows, I do not really know one breed from another. I do own a dog. They do pop up a lot in my shots.

I think some on TE apply the "no pets" rule too literally; my intention is not to convey "pets" per say here but to show dogs as a part of the human experience. These pictures speak to me of human life and human lifestyle around the world as much as they merely are a multitude of mutts.

Melbourne, is Australia's second largest city, and perhaps it's best-kept urban secret. A thriving restaurant scene, deeply entrenched coffee culture, long tree-lined boulevards, grand Victorian streetscapes, its famous tram network, hectares of finely-sculpted gardens, and a massive skirt of suburban sprawl...

With no single all-defining landmark, it's all about the culture in Melbourne; the moods, stories, experiences, the feel of the streets.
