from woody allen films to modern day 'friends', i've always thought of new york as city with a 'character'. here are some glimpses of new york - the way i 'felt' the city. a city i believe like one of mine (Bombay), can 'bounce' back with more vigor and life.

Here I have tried to capture few moments of a typical Bengali wedding that brings out the essence and the uniqueness of the ritual. I'll come back later with better descriptions...thanks for stopping by.

I adore Bombay...yet I have not been out on a clicking spree to Bombay for quite sometime now. These photographs are my view of Bombay (mostly shot in 2003-2004)...the place that has stories everywhere...the place that embraces everyone.

People from all around the world travel to this tiny village to admire the rock carvings, the murals and sure enough they express their appreciation in their own way.
