Hi Roger,
firstly thanks very much for your critique.
Yes I actually tried several settings with slower shutter and smaller aperture but I have to admit that this picture(& the workshop I posted) are what the camera's mode "sunset" selected. Actually the light had considerably diminished by the time I got these, so wide open at 1/60 was probably the optimum anyhow. I could possibly have lightened a bit in photoshop but I like the result as is...... It was a kind of eerie sunset anyway with it being so calm and all.
