i know that in arctic region some people used the piles of stones to mark the way, in siberia, specially in buriatia, those kinds of piles are used in this same aim... but this one was build by trappers; that's the valley of Tahinga river, totally forgotten place; that's a part of Barguzin mountain range on the northern-eastern coast of Baikal Lake in Buriatia Region; we were the first polish group in official expedition in this range, and also we made first passage from Barguzin River to the Baikal Lake; here's the web site where you can find more informations about this: [url]http://www.klubmg.republika.pl/relacje.html[/url] greetings & regards! slawek			RussiaRussia stones hajle (1087)
