Thank you for your observations. You are right, the views along the Inside Passage from Ketchikan northward increase in their spectacularness as the mountains and glaciers rise. Our lighting is muted by comparison with the rest of the world and I only attempt to record it, so it's often disappointing to people who like lots of sun.
