Greetings William,
Once again thanks for the very thoughtful and well analyzed critique and sharing your personal experience. Through our notes and critiques we pick up a lot of information about a person character don’t we?
I’m not much of a fisher and have not done so for many years. I used to go with friends not really to fish, but just to sit and talk. That’s what I sometimes miss.
I pretty much know what kind of photo I post will get more attention than others. That is really not the main reason most of us are here for. I generally post something that I think would evoke some kind of emotional connection and occasionally just something pretty to enjoy. Here in this photo, perhaps I was feeling a little blue, I like its simplicity, the melodramatic mood and solitude. I feel that the large area of plain and grayish sky, the slight misty air, the small scale of the person in comparison to his surrounding all contribute to that mood. Off course when I took the photo without all this thought process, it’s what I feel when looking at the photo. We all have our own different interpretation, and that what I like when people share that with me through the photos.
Anyway thanks for sharing you thought.
