Without a doubt, we live in different climates, but I'm happy to see, from your photos, that we do live in the same world. My preferences are cool and damp; your world seems to be hot and damp. Same water, though. This is not a lake, but the Inside Passage of SE Alaska, a part of the sea which is protected by many islands so it is without much surf but does have 14 foot tides.
