Hello Reed! According to the fortune I picked, there is a great probability of success in my life!! :-) You're right, the bright spot is the reflection of my flash. There was a small box in front of the Buddha. I think it was made of lacquer, so it was shiny. It's tricky to find the right spots to explore in Chinatown. When I went last year I was disappointed, but this time I did more research and saw lots of interesting stuff.
