Hi Steve, Yes a good point, I did look at a vertical crop. Problem was, the buildings behind here are some of the tallest in the CBD and to include them I would have lost the detail of the wharf because the shot got too wide. I thought this crop made a better balance although looking at it now maybe I could have had less water foreground and a bit more of a tilt up on the buildings in the background. I suppose I could have posted this shot as the workshop rather than the tighter detail shot I've used there and then gone for the wider vertical crop, decisions, decisions, bloody hell, I'm getting confused, I better go and have a coffee.
