Hello Elena,
I should have mentioned, the large crane is redundant, left as a reminder of past shipbuilding days, of 20-30 years ago when large ships were build here. There are still a very few small shipyards remaining on the River Clyde.
300-400 years ago, a very small fishing village.
Happy you liked this photo, I think when I reduce size to suit TE I lose sharpness, need to pay more attention to this.
