on one hand - yes... on the other - i was shocked (so was my guide who was there only 5 years ago) to find the roads newly modernized, infrastructure adjusted to earopean standards, people open for new challenges, no open "cry" for the past - a "normal", "living" country like any other i visited in europe... with numerous exceptions, all right, but i think they were typical for this part of europe rather than being a result of belarus classified as a museum of eastern europe... not at all...!
