Antonio My grandparents fled in 33/34 when Salazar came into power. They ended up in South Africa. My great, great, great grandfather was a cousin of King Pedro V. My father maried an Afrikaner/German woman. My grandparents on my mom's side fled Germany when Stalin and the Soviet's were approuching the Reich. I am able to speak English and Afrikaans fluently. And some of the other 9 official languages I can talk a bit. My German and Portuguese is so-so. Then I am also able to communicate in Ukranian, French and some Arabic.
