I owe certainly an apology but I cannot find the information aboyut this celebration in English. The Celebertion is very Catholic, it came from the cults of VERA CRUZ and it makes at 3rd of May. I have found only this article: http://es.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fiesta_de_las_Cruces unfortunately only in Spanish version. In North you have something called "Maypole" or "May Day" with roots in Pre-Germanic paganism. I feel that is nothing more than the coincidence of the date.			SpainSpain Crosses of May Amaz (7868)
