Yes, this is the same valenki. In modern russian north villages it is usual shoes. But if you live in the city or town, you can't use a valenki. Only for small children, old people... I read about a winter problems of many german, italian, hungarn etc. soldiers in the IIWW in Russia also. Have a nice week, Silvio, Thank you for visit.
