If you watched Pete Rose, you watched BASEBALL. Those were the good ol' days of the sport, for me at least. I grew up in the 1960's watching the Cardinals with Bob Gibson, Lou Brock and those, and lived through the 70's and 80's when Pete was around in his heyday. No steroids, but probably a bunch of cocaine and other stuff. Shame Pete had to 'fess up to the gambling, he'd probably be in the Hall of Fame for some of the great ways he played. Mr. Baseball...
