Hi ben and thanks concerning the D700 I could hardly be unsatisfied with this excellent body ! before I had a D300 with a 17-55mm f/2.8 which was doing a great job. I switched because I wanted to travel light and for the type of street scenes photos I'm shooting I needed a 24mm. When the top notch 24-70mm f/2.8 became available, I jumped on it but of course I was in need a full frame format. This is why for the D700 Otherwise I could have staid without any problem with the D300/17-55mm still for a long while Cheers patrick			IndiaIndia Intense regard yquem46 (8449)
