To phwall: Composition, or not!rlrad::2009-04-19 19:36
Hi Pete,

I do appreciate your doing that workshop, it cleared things up for me. You probably couldn't tell, but I have had almost no training in much of anything artistic ;), as everything I have done in my life has been technical, or related to beer. I used to draw quite a lot of inspiration from beer!

I have the photograph with the symmetrical light towers and more of the red parts, but I already showed a couple of those symmetrical architectural shots recently, and I just loved the color and light of this one. I'm extremely happy that it exhibited such a reaction, so now I wouldn't change a thing with it.

That's not to say I didn't learn something, though. I did, and now I will probably be a little more aware of that compositional faux pas in the future. This may forever screw up my true artistic tendencies forever! Of course, I'm kidding, I have learned so much in the past almost 4 months, and it is because of folks like you and Sayantan that I have to thank.

So, thank you, Pete, and you can workshop any of my photos anytime you wish!

Have a great week,
Reed
