Thanks for the note. Almost all the photographers for news and sports magazines are right on the sidelines with big lenses. That can result in some really great shots, but often the backgrounds are cluttered with fans, seats, advertising, etc. Being up high and farther away does give you the opportunity to capture the geometry of the game without the non-game clutter.
