Yes you are right, in the previous shot (which you have critiqued also), that was I liked much, the hands to the front, very unusual from the dancers. I prefer close ups, and to lose the distracting background, which is REALLY distracting as it is usually full of colors and people, and parts of people, arms, heads, etc etc... regarding the musis, it depends, mostly the rythm is the same, which is samba, but there are musics in spanish, in Brazil they speak portuguese, and that is the main difference...
