Words always welcome, I really appreciate them!
As for the oversharpening, I'm aware of those problems. Today, to treat and reduce my pictures I use PICASA. The program has been improved, so you can control the level of sharpness (not possible in older versions), but it's far from the ideal (as one can do at photoshop, for example). I'm planning to have photoshop soon. Hopefully, quality will be better!
