Hi Antonio. Thanks for your remarks. This was only a section of a bigger crowd, of course, Because the Karmapa is the head of aTibetan sect most of his followers are Tibetians and most of the people in the picture are monks (lamas) or novice. There are some Western followers of this sect and msot seem to be women, but there were some men too.The back pack in the front ,belonged to a young Western guy,who left it to reserve his place.
