Barbara, Thanks for your comments, thoughts and information! Shame about "Water, Earth and Sky" - it's so good - but this "Over the Rivers" looks interesting - and I see there's an "Over the Mountains" too - I could be tempted! Actually I've been planning to re-visit the New Mexico badlands - which are fascinating - as I've recently discovered a lot more of them (on the net) - although many are not that easy to visit being somewhat off the beaten track - plus, maybe, a bit of a costly trip! Regret, I'm not anywhere especially interesting - I'm looking after my ex's house whilst she's in Australia (for the Winter).
